IIHF INTERNATIONAL YOUTH COACHING SYMPOSIUM

30^th APRIL – 01^st MAY, 2011 Bratislava, SLOVAKIA

During the 2011 IIHF World Championship in Slovakia we will be hosting the IIHF International Youth Coaching Symposium in Bratislava for youth coaches. This year, as with last year’s symposium in Germany, we will be discussing all five different aspects of the game:  Physical, Mental, Technical, Tactical and Theoretical matters and how they relate to youth ice hockey.

The presenters will be from the leading ice hockey nations and are experts in the field of training and will talk about how they develop their youth hockey players. After every Topic Session, we will have a question and answer period in order to allow the coaches to ask specific questions regarding their own situations.

Between the lectures there will be Exhibitor’s Fair/Poster Session outside the lecture hall where various suppliers will have booths displaying products. During these sessions the participants will have the opportunity to meet with coaches from other nations personally.

We are attempting to make this symposium as reasonable and convenient as possible. The accommodation at the Hotel Dom Sportu is in the same building as the lecture hall and is 5 minutes walking distance from the Ice Hockey Arena.
