Wheelchair users with tickets to 2011 IIHF World Championships (29.04 - 15-5. 2011) games will be able to park near the Bratislava Orange Arena. Severely disabled card holders with valid tickets will be able to drive into the regulated traffic zone.

"From Vajnorska street to the street Odbojárov branching they may enter the  former cycling stadium. From there it is not far to the entrance area in front of the Orange Arena." Said LOC Chairman of Bratislava Ľubomír Lenár. One of the entrances is designed specifically for wheelchair users - the outermost entrance from Trnava street, next to the storage facility. For wheelchair users there is also a separate wheelchair entrance, leading directly to the ice rink surface where wheelchair users have a defined obstacle free area.

At each game of the championship in Bratislava 10 seats for wheelchair users were on sale, each with one escort. Tickets for wheelchair users can be ordered from the Ticket-Hotline: +421/917-86 86 86 (9:00 to 21:00 CET).

In Košice parking for wheelchair users is provided in the Steel Arena car park, as well as barrier-free entrance into the stadium and platforms for wheelchair users. There were 19 tickets on sale for wheelchair users and escorts in Košice.
