Buying tickets in addition to the official ticket seller the Ticketportal company, buyer could become a victim.

Organizing Committee of 2011 IIHF World Championship, Slovakia wants to point out a case of stolen tickets for upcoming championship in Bratislava and Košice (29 - 15/05/2011). First case happened in Bratislava, where 100 tickets were stolen from a company vault. The second case involved the theft of tickets from a passenger car.

Organizing Committee and also official ticket seller Ticketportal company do not guarantee any tickets loss and also wants to warn fans that the numbers of stolen tickets will be recorded and confirmed by the police in their system. It will not be possible to enter inside of the Orange Arena and the Steel Arena with those tickets.

Organizing Committee informs that the official ticket seller is the company Ticketportal. If there are any other offers to buy tickets for 2011 IIHF Championship, Slovakia, the buyer has no guarantee that will become a victim of cheating and will not buy tickets, which were identified in the system as invalid ones.

Buyers of tickets are taking the risk without the possibility of applying the claim for the tickets and there is also another risk that the buyer will buy worthless tickets.
