BERNE – At the conclusion of the Qualification Round at the 2009 IIHF World Championship, the matchups and times for the quarterfinals have been set for Wednesday, May 6, and Thursday, May 7.

All games will take place at Berne's PostFinance Arena, and all times are local.

Russia-Belarus, 16:15

Finland-USA, 20:15

May 7

Canada-Latvia, 16:15

Sweden-Czech Republic, 20:15

For the semi-finals on Friday, May 8, the winner of RUS-BLR will play the winner of FIN-USA in the 16:15 game, and the winner of CAN-LAT will play the winner of SWE-CZE in the 20:15 game.
