ZURICH-KLOTEN – Team Finland has added forward Leo Komarov (Lahti Pelicans) and goalie Juuso Riksman (Jokerit Helsinki) to its roster prior to the Finland-Czech Republic game.

Defenceman Janne Niskala (Frölunda Gothenburg, SWE) will be added for the Qualification Round.

Veteran blueliner Petteri Nummelin (Lugano, SUI), who earned one assist in Finland's first two games, was questionable for the Czech Republic game due to the flu.

Canada lost forward James Neal (Dallas Stars) due to a high stick near his left eye he took from Slovakia's Ladislav Nagy in Tuesday's 7-3 win. Canadian GM Doug Armstrong will add defenceman Marc-Edouard Vlasic (San Jose Sharks) later this week, and defenceman Braydon Coburn (Philadelphia Flyers) will also be added for the next round.

Team USA added forward Joe Pavelski of the San Jose Sharks. He recorded career highs in his 80 games this season in points (59), goals (25), assists (34), shorthanded goals (3) and shots (266).
