On May 8th 2010 ORTEMA as official partner of the German Hockey Federation and the Hockey World Cup 2010 will host a symposium for physicians, trainers, managers, physiotherapists and equipment managers. The venue is Gelsenkirchen where the opening game Germany/USA is played in the Veltins Arena on Schalke one day before.
After visiting the game together the following day will be used to discuss themes like modern medical treatments, orthopedic technical treatments and many other current themes concerning Hockey.
The Swabian Orthopedic Technology company has been an important partner of the German Hockey Federation, the German Hockey League and various Hockey clubs for many years. ORTEMA treats players after injuries but also has lots of expertise concerning protective gear and the prevention of injuries. This is done by fitting the players with state of the art and individually manufactured orthoses and protectors.
The symposium`s patrons are the German Hockey Federation and the DEB Partner CITY MED. Munich.
