With our Green Mobility platform we offer our visitors a climate friendly journey to the 2010 IIHF World Championship. The individual emissions of your journey and your accomodation can easily be calculated and neutralized.

The term sustainability has come into the public eye in the last few years and has found its way into every-day conversation. But it is still ambiguous and not well understood. The concept of sustainability includes a permanent development to guarantee future viability of different overlapping areas, in particular environmental sustainability, economic sustainability and societal sustainability.

It is the goal of the organizing committee of the 2010 IIHF World Championship to consider all three areas of sustainability and to help make a contribution to the cause for the benefit of ice hockey.
Some ways that the Organizing Committee is making this World Championship meet with the needs of the environment include: making public transportation readily available and a viable option to get to all games, making the arenas wheelchair accessible, helping bicyclists and pedestrians have easy access and enacting various recycling and conservation programs (energy, water trash) around the arenas.
