LJUBLJANA – Slovenia’s best-known goalkeeper Robert Kristan had to leave the national team due to flu. He won’t be able to suit up in any other games of the 2010 IIHF World Championship Division I Group B that takes place in the Slovenian capital of Ljubljana.

Kristan was on the game sheet in Slovenia’s first game against Poland as a backup for Andrej Hocevar, but on Sunday it was decided to send the goalkeeper home due to illness. Kristan has been replaced by emergency goalkeeper Ales Sila.
