PARDUBICE – Czech player Karel Rachunek has been given an automatic one-game suspension at the 2011 IIHF InLine Hockey World Championship.

Rachunek was sent off with a match penalty due to fisticuffs during the Czech Republic’s last preliminary-round game against Sweden.

He will miss the quarter-final game against Slovakia on 23th June. No further supplementary disciplinary action was issued.

Rachunek played ice hockey for KHL club Lokomotiv Yaroslavl this season and also represented the Czech national ice hockey team that won the bronze medals in the 2011 IIHF World Championship.
