COLORADO SPRINGS, USA – USA Hockey announced the roster for its National Inline Team that will compete at the upcoming 2015 IIHF Inline Hockey World Championship, 5-11 July in Tampere, Finland.
The U.S. earned bronze at last year’s world championship, and has medalled in five of the last six tournaments.
“We had a great pool of players at our try-out camp, and we’re really excited about the depth of the team we put together,” said Dan Brennan, general manager of the U.S. National Inline Team. “We’re looking forward to the opportunity to reclaim gold in Finland this month.”
The roster is highlighted by 12 U.S. National Inline Team veterans, including captain Greg Thompson and alternate captains Nielsson Arcibal and Travis Noe. In addition, seven members of the gold medal-winning 2013 U.S. National Inline Team will compete at this year’s championship.
