A couple of days ago the figure appeared here around the Globe Arena, and because it is a hockey fanatic, the organizer of the championship decided to involve he or she in the upcoming IIHF Ice Hockey World Championships as the mascot. The Mascot, which is a lynx, has not told us its name. Therefore it would be great if you can help us naming it. The winner will receive 8 tickets to either Sweden’s opening game against Switzerland or Finland’s opening game versus Germany, on the 3rd of May, 2013. In addition to this there will be prizes for 2nd to 9th place as well and those will win two tickets each to the same games, either to Sweden’s or Finland’s opening game, depending on if it´s a Swede or Finn who wins. But you have to hurry up if you want to participate, final day to send your suggestions is the 30th of October, 2012.

Contest Rules
1st Prize: The best suggestion that is singled out will be chosen by a common jury, and he/she will win 8 tickets to Sweden’s opening game against the Swiss on the 3rd of May, or Finland’s opening game against Germany.

2nd to 9th prices: Will each win two tickets to Sweden’s or Finland’s opening game.

This contest will proceed until the 30th of october, 2012.

The winners will be contacted and the award will be delivered via mail.

In this naming contest a jury will name the best reasons for the choice of name.

Staff from the Swedish and Finnish Ice Hockey association is not allowed to participate.
