Hartwall Arena in Helsinki is the official venue of the 2013 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship together with Globe Arena in Stockholm.
Hartwall Arena is one of the most actively used entertainment venues in Europe. It hosts concerts, operas, dance performances and conferences along with sport events from single club level ice hockey games to world championships.
In the national league hockey games, the capasity of the arena is 13 349. In the World Championship, the capasity will be a little lower due to the constructions needed in the tribune area, for example TV studios, commentator positions, etc.
