STOCKHOLM/HELSINKI – Denmark added NHL defenceman Philip Larsen to its roster before tonight’s Scandinavian clash against Norway in Stockholm.
Larsen was among the Dallas Stars’ top-six defencemen this season. He played 32 games (2 goals, 3 assists) for the Stars after starting the season with Finnish team Lukko Rauma.
The Danish roster now consists of 20 skaters and two goalkeepers. Denmark can still add two skaters and one goalie.
Germany added Daniel Pietta to its roster before the game against Russia this afternoon.
With the Krefeld Pinguine forward the German national team has now 21 skaters and two goalkeepers registered and has still open spots for one goalkeeper and one skater.
Defenceman Peter Lindlbauer and goalkeeper Danny aus den Birken are practising with the team but have not been registered yet.
