ZURICH – The ice is made ready in many countries for the new season. Time to plan for the World Girls’ Ice Hockey Weekend and register your event now!

Whether you’re a federation, a regional branch, a club, or just a group of hockey dedicated friends, the weekend of 7th and 8th October 2017 is your weekend to participate in the World Girls’ Ice Hockey Weekend by organizing an event for girls and women to learn and play the game.

The initiative is held annually since 2011 and last year thousands of women took part in over 470 events were organized in 42 countries all over the world in North and South America, Africa, Asia, Europe and Oceania. With your event you can not only help beat these numbers but help women’s hockey grow in your community and country, and be part of this global initiative.

It’s never too late to mark the dates, reserve your ice time and register the event here so we know you’re organizing one and can help with material.
