MUNICH – The German Ice Hockey Federation (DEB) has set up a new, two-pronged approach to sports and administration, and has appointed Michael Grosz as new General Secretary and Stefan Schaidnagel as the new Director of Sports.
28-year-old Michael Grosz, master of business administration, served five years with the 2017 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship Organizing Committee and takes over the position of Michael Pfuhl, who will occupy the position of Technical Director.
The 36-year-old Stefan Schaidnagel, Sports diploma scientist, now assumes the central management position of the sports director within the DEB and cooperates closely with all national team coaches especially with men’s national team head coach Marco Sturm. |
