Marta Zawadzka   Close Biography

Born on 11th June 1982 in Katowice, Poland. Graduated at the Academy of Physical Education in Katowice in Sport Management and at the Silesian University in Marketing and Management.

Since 2000 she has been an ice hockey referee with an international licence from 2010 to 2014.

In 2008 she became a member of the women’s hockey committee of the Polish Ice Hockey Federation.

In 2012 she became a Polish Ice Hockey Federation council member responsible for women’s hockey and of the referee committee (2015/2016). She has been the General Manager of senior and junior U18 women’s national team.

She has worked in event-related functions not only in hockey but was also an LOC member during events such as Eurobasket 2009, Women’s Eurobasket 2011, World Men’s Volleyball Championships 2014, European Handball Championships EHF Euro 2016, international football games and cycling tours.
