Kuwait-Thailand (March 30)

Kuwait 0 - Thailand 5

Pre-tournament training camp in Bangkok is starting to pay off for Kuwait which, after its loss yesterday, came out energetic and put Thailand to the test for the first period. Only minute minute down to the second period, Thailand scored its first goal of the day and took the lead in the game. Kuwait got an opportunity to equalize things on a two-man advantage five minutes later, but was not able to put the puck to the net. With two goals within the final ten minutes of the period, Thailand led 3-0 going to second intermission. With a shorthanded goal and a fierce wristshot from the blueline, Thailand made it 5-0 in the third period leaving Kuwait pointless with two games remaining in the preliminary round.
