United Arab Emirates - Kuwait 2-0

The last game of the day provided a true Middle East rivalry with Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates matching it out in front of the enthusiastic fans and, with live signal provided by Kuwaiti National Broadcaster, TV audience in most of the Arab and North African countries. Big brother vs. small brother set up in Middle East ice hockey started with big brother UAE taking a lead in the game at 4:31 with a goal from Faisal Al Blooshi. Due to its larger roster, the Emirates were able to set the pace for the game keeping Kuwait on defensive stance. With excellent goaltending from Jassim Al Sarraf, Kuwait was able to keep the hopes high for the upset until at 57:21 Juma Al Dhaheri capitalized on the power play after a nice set up from Ali Al Mazrouei and Mohamad Al Jachi for final score of 0-2.
