United Arab Emirates - Thailand 6-3

The last game of the tournament was to decide which of the teams was to finish the tournament with the silver medals while loser would have to settle with bronze. After ten minutes of cautious play from both teams, the United Arab Emirates took the lead with a goal from Juma Al Dhaheri, the tournament directorate’s choice as the Best Forward of the event at 10:28. Thailand’s equalizer came only a minute later with a fierce wrist shot from the tournament’s Best Defenceman, Likit Neimwan. Al Dhaheri was to be the man of the match for the Emirates adding three more goals later in the game and sending the team outside the reach of the opponent. Despite the second goal from Neimwan and one from Teerasak Rattanachot, Thailand was not able to get close enough with the Emirati. The UAE claimed the silver medals with a 6-3 final score.
