Kuwait-Singapore (March 31)

Kuwait 4 - Singapore 2

In the last game of the third day, both Kuwait and Singapore were after the first win in the tournament. Singapore took a step towards that objective scoring its first goal after four minutes of play with a fierce wrist shot. A won face off in the offensive zone and a slapshot from the blueline made it one each only three minutes later and Kuwait started to put pressure on the Singapore goal taking the lead six minutes before the end of the period. Singapore got back by leveling things off just five seconds before the first intermission. At five minutes in the second period, Kuwait took the lead again with a breakaway goal to make it 3-2, which remained at the board until the end of the period despite a couple of good scoring opportunities at both ends. Singapore, having barely over two lines, ran out of batteries in the third period and Kuwait took control of the game finalizing the score with its fourth goal to make it 4-2.
