Macau - Hong Kong 0-13

There were no friendly neighbourly relations visible on ice in the first game of the day between Hong Kong and Macau. With a flying start on the game, Hong Kong went on with a goal in a minute pace for the first six minutes of play, adding two more at the end of the period to make it 8-0 going to the first intermission. Macau seemed to have lost something from their game during the day off and was not able to get to their earlier level in the tournament. They remained scoreless in the game. Hong Kong added five more in the last two periods for 13-0 final score with Yin Man Chan, Arthur Tam and Donald Tse scoring two goals each for their team.
