2008 European Women's Champions Cup

Groups and Schedule

The groups for the 2007-2008 European Women's Champion's Cup have been decided. The annual event, in its fourth season, will be held in three rounds.

The first round will feature 16 teams split into four groups. The teams will play in round robin tournaments from October 5-7 with the winners advancing to the next round. The second round, from November 30-December 2, will feature two groups of four teams each. Four teams are automatically qualified to the second round and will be joined by the four first-round winners.

The EWCC Final Tournament will then be held from January 29-February 3 in Stockholm, Sweden. It will be a five-team round-robin tournament to which the defending champion AIK Solna is automatically qualified.

Host team is the title-holder AIK Solna (SWE). HC Lugano (SUI), Aisulu Almaty (KAZ), Espoo Blues (FIN) and OSC Berlin (GER) qualified for the EWCC Super Final. The games are played in the Vallentuna ishall.
