Peter Iten leaves Zurich, Grauwiler & Suchy re-sign

ZURICH – The ZSC Lions Zurich announced on Friday that Peter Iten, director of hockey operations, will leave the club after the CHL campaign in the end of January and will be replaced by Edgar Salis.

Iten is leaving the Lions for a job outside of sports after two years with the organization. His successor, Edgar Salis, will start on January 19. Salis was playing for the ZSC from 1993 - 2005 and won two championships. He was also a national team defenceman who represented Switzerland at the 2002 Olympics and in three World Championships.

The finalist of the Champions Hockey League also extended the contracts with two players. The Slovakian defenceman and former NHL player Radoslav Suchy re-signed for one more year. The 24-year-old Swiss forward Lukas Grauwiler re-signed for two seasons.
