CALGARY – Russia’s U20 national team coach Valeri Bragin made the final cut prior to the 2012 IIHF World Junior Championship.

Bragin said “nyet” to defencemen Roman Kudinov (Vityaz Chekhov) and Andrei Pedan (Guelph Storm), and forwards Emil Galimov (Loko Yaroslavl), Vladislav Namestnikov (London Knights) and Anton Zlobin (Shawinigan Cataractes).

Six players come from Canadian junior teams and 17 from Russia including six players who established themselves in the KHL.

The final roster is composed of three goalkeepers, eight defencemen and twelve forwards.

Player registration will start on 25th December.
