ZURICH – The Final Tournament of the European Women’s Champions Cup will be held in Bad Tölz, Germany, 14-16 March.

German champion ESC Planegg will host the event in the Bavarian city of Bad Tölz where it already hosted a preliminary-round group. That tournament was won by defending champion Tornado Moscow Region from Russia and Planegg advanced as the second-placed team of the tournament.

The other two finalists are AIK Stockholm (Sweden) and the Espoo Blues (Finland), who were the top-two teams from the other second-round tournament. In total 20 national champions entered the competition staged in three rounds.

Defending champion Tornado won the EWCC in 2010, 2012 and 2013. The final tournament will include many Olympians since all four countries will have a women’s national team in Sochi 2014.
