ZURICH/MOSCOW – After Sergei Soin, the Russian men’s national team loses a second player due to injury. Denis Kokarev will not be able to play in Sochi 2014.

Kokarev suffered a leg injury in Dynamo Moscow’s game against CSKA Moscow on Wednesday. Today’s examinations revealed that the forward will not recover in time for the 2014 Olympic Winter Games.

A replacement player has not been named yet. Previously Alexander Syomin was named to replace Soin.
