Canada vs. Russia 14-1 (5-1, 5-0, 4-0)

Canada cruised to a 14-1 win at the IIHF Twelve Nations Invitational Tournament Series against Russia. Canada opened the game with an early tally one minute and twelve seconds into the game and never looked back. The only blemish came late in the first period when Svetlana Tkacheva scored while Canada was on the power play. Canada improves with a 2-0 record in Pool A while Russia drops to 0-2 in Pool B. Canadian forward Meghan Agosta recorded five points (3G, 2A) in the victory. Vicki Bendus was chosen as the player of the game for Canada while Svetlana Tkacheva got the nod for Russia.
