InLine groups announced

16 teams to play in 2010 IIHF InLine Hockey World Championship

ZURICH – Following the qualification of Argentina and Croatia, the International Ice Hockey Federation announced the groups of the 2010 IIHF InLine Hockey World Championship in Karlstad, Sweden, June 28 to July 4, 2010.

Host Sweden, the winner of the last three World Championships, will face Finland, Slovenia and Austria in the Preliminary Round.

USA, Germany, the Czech Republic and Canada make up the other top division group.

Argentina and Croatia qualified for the 2010 IIHF InLine Hockey World Championship and will be seeded in Division I, replacing South Africa and Chinese Taipei.

Top Division
Group A: Sweden (1), Finland (4), Slovenia (5), Austria (8).
Group B: USA (2), Germany (3), Czech Republic (6), Canada (7).

Division I
Group C: Slovakia (9), Hungary (12), Australia (13), Croatia (16).
Group D: Great Britain (10), Brazil (11), Japan (14), Argentina (15).
