MANNHEIM – Sweden added two forwards prior to its game on Sunday evening against Norway.

After the additions of Jonas Andersson (Dynamo Minsk) and Magnus Pääjärvi-Svensson (Timrå IK), the Swedish national team has now 17 skaters and three goalkeepers registered before the first game.

Earlier on Sunday Belarus added four players to its roster for the first game against newly-promoted Kazakhstan.

The Belarusian Ice Hockey Association had previously registered a minimum roster (15+2), and today extended it to 18 skaters and three goalkeepers.

Yunost Minsk’s Sergei Shabanov was registered as the third goalkeeper behind Andrei Mezin and Vitali Koval.

Head coach Eduard Zankovets also added defenceman Alexander Makritski and forward Alexander Kulakov, both from Dynamo Minsk, and Alexei Kalyuzhny from Dynamo Moscow.
