++ Khimik Moscow Region announced former Metallurg coach Fedor Kanareykin as its new head coach on January 2. He replaces Evgeny Popikhin, who will remain in the coaching staff.
++ After only three wins in the last games, Metallurg released the head coach Fedor Kanareykin. He has been replaced with Valery Postnikov, who was head coach of the club from 1971 to 1998.
++ During the December break, Metallurg signed goalkeeper Travis Scott of the Kolner Haie, Germany, and forward Igor Mirnov from Dynamo Moscow.
++ Igor Emeleev moved to Dynamo Moscow. Also Nikolay Ignatov left Metallurg and is looking for a new team.
