BRATISLAVA – The 16 participating teams of the 2011 IIHF World Championship have registered their first players for the upcoming event.

One day before the start of the tournament at the directorate meetings in Bratislava and Kosice the teams had to register at least 15 skaters and two goalkeepers. Up to 20 skaters and three goalkeepers can be registered for the first three games. Two additional players can be added after the conclusion of the preliminary round.
