STOCKHOLM/HELSINKI – The national teams from Denmark, Finland and Slovakia added players prior to the games on Friday.
Danish first-round draft pick Nicklas Jensen arrived yesterday and has been registered today. The forward spent most of the season with the AHL’s Chicago Wolves (20 games, 2 goals, 2 assists) and in Sweden with AIK Stockholm (50 games, 17 goals, 6 assists). Most recently he has been on the roster of the Vancouver Canucks where he played his first two NHL games this year.
With the addition of Jensen, the Danes have now a full roster.
Finland added its third goalkeeper Atte Engren of TPS Turku and can still register an additional skater.
Slovakia filled its roster by adding defenceman Ivan Svarny from Slovak KHL team Slovan Bratislava and forward Marcel Hascak from HC Kosice. |
