STOCKHOLM – Canadian defenceman Luke Schenn will serve a one-game suspension for tonight’s game vs. Slovenia.
Schenn will be suspended automatically for one game due to the match penalty in yesterday’s game against the Czech Republic for checking Zbynek Irgl from behind. Irgl left the ice with an injury following the incident.
The Disciplinary Panel carried out the automatic review and concluded that no additional action is to be taken. Therefore, Schenn will be suspended for one game. |
