Slovenian Ice Hockey Federation sport director Matjaz Zargi spent two days in Bratislava.
Matjaz Zargi, the Slovenian Ice Hockey Federation's sport director, spent Thursday and Friday in Bratislava, having come to inspect the Ondrej Nepela Arena – and in particular the hotel in which the Slovenian national team are to be accommodated during the 2011 IIHF World Championship (29.4.-15.5.2011).
“The hotel is very nice, and quite importantly – it’s not far from the arena. I checked out the possible rooms and saw the menu. Everything should be alright,” stated a satisfied Matjaz Zargi. Slovenia is planning to return once again before the championship commences.
“I would like to see the arena in Bratislava after the reconstruction is finished,” mentioned Matjaz Zargi, who was escorted around the capital city by Ľubomír Lenár, the Bratislava Local Organizing Committee's Chairman.
The Slovenian Bratislava visit was followed by inspections by Finland and Germany. Last week the Košice arena and hotel hosted a two-member visit from Switzerland.
