ZURICH-KLOTEN — Team Finland has removed Tuomas Pihlman from its roster due to sudden illness. Rule 618-4 of the IIHF’s Statutes and Bylaws permits a team to remove a player prior to two hours before the start of the first game of the World Championship. Finland opens the 2009 World Championship on Saturday against Norway.
