BERLIN – German champion Eisbaren Berlin prolonged the contracts with Florian Busch, Constantin Braun, Frank Hordler and André Rankel until 2011, the club announced on Friday. Busch is playing for the “polar bears” since 2002, Hordler and Rankel since 2003 and Braun since 2004. All of them are members of the German national team. GM Peter John Lee announced his happiness about signing those players and that they don’t want to miss new challenges like playing in the new arena O2 World and being part of the Champions Hockey League.
