Back
Just like at the inaugural Victoria Cup in Berne one year ago, the games will be officiated by IIHF-NHL blended on-ice official crews and called according to a specially adopted IIHF-NHL blended rule book. The IIHF referee for Monday’s exhibition game HC Davos vs. Chicago Blackhawks will be the Lloydminster, Canada-born Brent Reiber, who has officiated in the Swiss league since 1997 and has experience from five IIHF World Championships. The IIHF-linesman will be Felix Winnekens (GER).

The IIHF referee for Tuesday’s Victoria Cup ZSC Lions vs. Chicago game will be Vyacheslav Bulanov (RUS) who brings with him eight years experience from the Russian league, four IIHF World Championships and one Olympics. The IIHF linesman will be Frantisek Kalivoda (CZE). The full four-man officiating crews (including the NHL referees and linesmen) will be announced on game day.
