MANNHEIM – All 26 NHL teams not still in the Stanley Cup playoffs have at least one player here in Germany. Of the 80 total NHLers, Toronto leads the way with seven players while the Rangers and Colorado have contributed six each.
However, in terms of productivity, the Rangers lead the way. Their players have scored 20 total points in Germany, while the Colorado players have accumulated 15 and the Islanders and Thrashers 14. So, in utterly whimsical, totally useless fashion, herewith are the teams that have contributed the most scoring points to the tournament.
