ZURICH – It’s the time of the year when it’s time for girls and women who want to play ice hockey. During the World Girls’ Ice Hockey Weekend over 500 events will take place in more than 30 countries on six continents.

Girls and women of any age will have the chance to try ice hockey in a safe environment and have fun on the ice.

The global initiative will take place for the seventh year already as organizers all around the world get ready like the pictured ones in Svetla nad Sazavou as more than 100 girls are expected at the three venues in the Czech Republic.
