Slovakia vs. Canada 0-11 (0-3, 0-4, 0-4)

Canada continued its strong performance and defeated Slovakia 11-0.

Right from the start Canada was very aggressive and created good scoring chances, but despite their good efforts, they missed to score goals in the beginning. Slovakia’s goaltender Monika Kvakova made couple of world-class saves right at the beginning of first period and she was able to maintain her performance throughout the game, although the first period ended 3-0 in favour of Canada.

The second period started with good pressure from the Canadians, who were able to score two goals right at the beginning. Canada played a strong period, controlling the game with good passing and skating for a score of 7-0 after 40 minutes.

Although the game started to slow down in the third, Canada still managed to score four more goals. Impressively, Canada was able to control the majority of the game despite their 14 minutes in penalties.
