Swedish winning streak continues

Before the game, Emilia Andersson from the Swedish national team was recognized for playing in her 100th international game. Sweden controlled the game from the beginning, although Switzerland was able to gain more control in the third period, after Sweden ran in to penalty troubles. The Swiss team got a chance to play 5 on 3 and was able to take advantage by scoring two goals.
Swedish goalie Kim Martin had to come up with many important saves when the Swiss team continued to pressure the Swedes in their own end. The Swedish goals were scored by Lisa Johansson, Pernilla Winberg, Frida Nevalainen and Lina Vester. The goals from Switzerland were scored by Stefanie Marty and Nicole Bullo.
