USA vs. Japan 13-0 (4-0, 2-0, 7-0)

Team USA had total control of the game for the whole three periods. The Americans scored four unanswered goals in the first ten minutes of play while Japan didn’t have any scoring chances.

The U.S. continued to dominate the second period taking 24 shots in the period. Thanks to great goaltending by the Japanese goalie, the Americans were not able to score more than two goals during the middle period, leaving Team USA with a 6-0 lead after the second period.

The Americans continued with seven more goals in the third period for the final score of 13-0.
