Ankle injury prevents debut of 20-year-old

BUDAPEST – Hungarian forward Istvan Bartalis injured his ankle in the warm-up prior to the game of the 2011 IIHF World Championship Division I Group A host team against the Netherlands.

The 20-year-old, who plays for Troja Ljungby in Sweden, would have played his first game for the senior national team in IIHF competition and had to go to hospital instead. It remains to  be seen whether he will be able to join the team during the event.
