BRATISLAVA – On Monday, June 23rd, the inline hockey family gathered to pay tribute to the “father of inline hockey”, Walter Bush Jr.
Bush was the chairman of the IIHF InLine Hockey Committee for many years and the driving force behind the IIHF integrating InLine into its program. It was under Bush's leadership that the IIHF World InLine Championship expanded to sixteen countries with even more nations actively playing the game. Bush, an IIHF council member from 1986, stepped down from his position at the last General Congress in Montreal and was named an IIHF Life Member. |
