Skoda Roomster "Cooly"- an insider's tip for the 2009 IIHF World Championship

The 2009 IIHF World Championship, Switzerland will be held from April 24 to May 10, 2009. Skoda - for the 17th consecutive time the main sponsor of this major ice hockey event - is launching a special model for the occasion christened the Roomster "Cooly".

"Cooly" is of course the name of the World Championship's likeable mascot. Flexible, versatile, dependable and polyvalent – this is what characterises both ice hockey champions and Skoda's special "Cooly" edition alike. And the car comes with a special price advantage of more than CHF 2'000.--!


The Roomster "Cooly" series is endowed with a wide array of features – sports seats, a three-spoke leather steering wheel, head airbags, ESP, halogen projection headlights with an active turning system and "Cornering" functionality, middle arm rest, Dance radio with CD player and audio plug in the middle console, Maxi-dot (large multi-function display), seat heating, Climatronic with cooled glove compartment, roof railing and Atria 6,5Jx16 light alloy wheels - and of course a foot mat sporting the official World Championship logo.


The net price for the limited edition Roomster "Cooly" 1.6 16V with a petrol engine (105 hp) is CHF 24,250.--, respectively CHF 25,850.-- as an automatic. The high-torque and fuel-efficient 1.9 TDI (105 hp) with a diesel particle filter is available for CHF 27,450.-- net.
