The 2012 IIHF Hockey World Championships organizing committee will release the remaining tickets to Team Finland's games against France (May 10) and Kazakhstan (May 14) as special fan and family packages to give everybody a chance to come and see the host team play.

The packages contain four tickets for the price of one, and depending on the arena section, will cost 195 or 155 euro. The packages will be released on Monday, May 7, at Lippupiste's channels, excluding R-Kioski.

When the ticket prices were set for this tournament in early 2011, other international and Finnish event prices were used as a base. Unfortunately, there were no special categories for Team Finland's games considering to the opponent. In hindsight, the fan perspective should have been recognized to a greater extent.  

Ticket prices for the 2013 tournament will be set after the 2012 tournament, once all feedback has been gathered and analyzed, and the matchups have been determined.
