Volunteers are an integral part of major sports events worldwide - events like the 2012 IIHF World Championship could not be organized without the help of volunteer staff.

The tournament will succeed through the efforts of our volunteers, who will play an important role in running of the event. Volunteers also have a major impact on the atmosphere and the public’s perception of the event. They are the face of the Organizing Committee and will play an important role in helping to welcome and service our guests, team members, media representatives and spectators.
