Why have you joined AMP? As someone who has been a pioneer in the sport of women's ice hockey I feel that it is my obligation to give back to a sport that I am passionate about. The athletes in our sport deserve to be mentored, coached, and valued as elite athletes. There is much more work needed to be done in all aspects of women's hockey including global issues of acceptance of females as viable talented athletes and coaches, leadership development in women's athletics, and competitive experiences for women's hockey players at large!
