Felix Sturm

You will barely find a second team sport that connects dynamic, speed, technique and power as much as ice hockey does”, enthuses boxing world champion Felix Sturm about the credit to be selected as an ambassador for the 2010 IIHF World Championship.

The atmosphere, which will dominate the arenas, is best-known by Leverkusen-born Felix Sturm. With his sporting appearances he regularly electrifies the crowd. As an ambassador he wants to use his connection to sports and sport fans to promote the unique mood of the WC 2010 in Germany.
The reigning boxing world middleweight champion (WBA) established his reputation in 36 professional fights worldwide. As amateur he had the impressive result of 113 to 9 victories, was two times German champion and European champion.
